Although these photos are vintage in style, skin tones should never look muddy upon printing. Every print that enters my studio is carefully inspected for color accuracy and center positioning within your frame.
A perfect picture deserves to be seen everyday! That's why I've made this portion of the process easy for you. With my state of the art software, you'll be able to visualize your portrait of choice in the frame of your choice on your own home walls. And YES, this is all done virtually (you in your home with me at mine), playing with different sizes so you know you've chosen exactly what you want. There's no need to run more errands after receiving your prints. From the matting to the framing, I've done my diligence in selecting options that will make your fine art prints shine.
What's done is DONE! And what's done is ready to ENJOY! When your portraits are complete, I'll get everything packaged up, including the hanging hardware for your walls. If you are local to Tallahassee, you can choose pick up or delivery. For clients out-of -town, your frames will be shipped to you.

History was my least favorite subject in school, but here I am, a historian of sorts. Perhaps home-based or personal stories intrigue me more because of how collectively large those stories will impact future generations. When I think about the type of legacy I want to leave, it is merely that 'I loved well.' There is always much greatness to be found and created inside the walls of one's home. The "good" may rarely make history but they do leave enduring legacies of love and hope.
Walt Whitman once wrote, "We were together. I forget the rest." For me, the best photos are the ones that communicate that message, fleeting moments that linger in your heart forever.

Regardless of the season that you're in, and whether your babies are big, small or furry, this time in your life deserves to be captured by something other than your iPhone.
Growing up, I often found old video tapes or film rolls around my parents' house. Every time, I would look for a device to view those forgotten memories on but rarely found one. Technology had already changed. Despite the odds, I would tuck those unlabeled video tapes and rolls of film into my desk in hopes of ONE DAY. I didn't know what was on them. They could have been blank. But, during long spells of homework, I often would take those tapes out from my desk and simply imagine what memories they held. Move after move, those tapes and rolls of film stayed with me.
Almost twenty-five years later, I eventually found someone to retrieve those memories, but, even then, the quality of the tapes had diminished over time for a less than stellar output. When I finally put the USB of forgotten footage into my computer and saw what it was, a tear trickled down my face. The tapes, after many years of hope and wonder, were not blank after all. It was footage of my older sister's 7th birthday party, footage of my grandparents now passed, 5 year old me twirling in ballet class, my dad shooting hoops at Chucky Cheese, my mom conducting Cleveland's Symphony Orchestra, and scenes from the house I grew up in.
It's easy to think that a hard drive or photos in "the cloud" will suffice. However, how are those photos serving your family? When memories are in view, a bit of home and belonging is just a glance away. Through albums, gallery walls, and folio boxes, I can help you preserve your family's legacy beautifully.
