The day before Megan and Payne’s wedding day, it rained relentlessly over Dothan, AL. Weather reports continued calling for rain the next day as well. Around 4 am the day of their wedding day, lightning and thunder awoke me from my sleep. And, as any normal wedding photographer would do, I yelled into the night, “NO!” Covering my head, I attempted not to envision a white dress in a mud pit. Somehow, some way, as I was drinking my coffee the next morning, the clouds began to part and the sun came out. It truly seemed like a miracle! From that point on, the rain for Dothan was over! As I’m writing this, I still feel a sense of relief for Megan and Payne. As a couple, they bring plenty of sunshine into any image, however, why not add a little more, right?! From the dinner rehearsal to the wedding day, the entire weekend was FULL of fun! As I look back through their spread of wedding day images, I see so many little treasures that pull me back to their day. There was LOTS of laughter and a few tears, which, in my book, creates a PERFECT wedding day story :) Anyway, I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do! Much love to this full of personality couple!
