Mike and Grace Married!: Tennessee Backyard Wedding

When Grace and Mike became engaged, it was no surprise that Grace wanted a backyard wedding at the house she grew up in. Her wedding dress was made by a local seamstress. Her flowers and decor were put together by family and friends.  From the food to the entertainment, everyone involved was connected to the Lines in some way. It was

truly a family affair.  I am so glad to be a part of this family.  They have been the best “check system” for living my own life and a nice reminder that “slow and steady” often wins the race.  Although I have posted quite a few pictures from Grace and Mike’s wedding below, you can CLICK HERE TO SEE A SLIDESHOW from their day as well.

To begin, I’ll start you off with a few of my favorite moments from the rehearsal . . . Here is Charlie and Costen practicing their ring-bearer duties. Charlie (left), of course, is already stressed with the weight of the world upon his shoulders. Costen (right) just thinks this whole thing sucks. LOL! Next up is Nathan’s/Grace’s mom. Here she is trying to have a sentimental moment while Nathan shoots his fake guns in the background. Typical. Just a cute pic of Charlie :) Here’s Mike practicing his best groom reaction . . . But let’s move on to the morning of the big day . . . All the flowers were put together by Grace’s friend Megan.  Hit me up if you’d like to get in contact with this gal.  She’s AMAZING! Grace getting ready in her old room :) Peanut, Grace and Mike’s dog, didn’t want to leave the bride’s side. After all, he was the Best Man.  A little pre-ceremony preparation . . . Grace and Mike decided to do a first look to maximize their time together on their wedding day :) LOVE! Love these next two shots! Edie didn’t want to look up as she came down the aisle but I love how she and Dennis caught eyes for a moment. Too sweet and innocent! Moments surrounding Grace’s processional . . . Even Samson, the family dog, made an appearance for the ceremony.   Party time! Huge thanks to Dega Catering for the food and The Bearded for some bluegrass music! Grace was a little worried that I wouldn’t make it into any photos being the photographer. As usual, I always come through. LOL! Thanks to my sweet Emi for capturing the moment! Gotta love some Magpie’s cupcakes! Cozy by the fire, making smores isn’t a bad way to end the night :) Nathan will probably want me to mention that most, if not all, of those twinkle lights he hung. Such a proud wife I am! haha!

Beautiful pictures. I adore the Line family & you captured Grace & Mike’s day wonderfully. (PS, I babysat Grace & your husband a couple times when the family lived on LeConte. I was on the crew in 87 (& 07 as well). Thanks for sharing their wedding with your talented eye.

Hi Lori…your pictures are great as always, but they seem even better than usual this time. I suppose i am a little bias. You do nice work. I really like the shot of the tent lit up at night.
