I may or may not have gotten a little emotional editing these photos. Put on a sappy country song like Alan Jackson’s Remember When and suddenly you’ll start thinking about the way time passes and find yourself in a puddle of tears. Time can heal. Time can create distance between some. Time can fly or pass at a snail’s pace. And, for some, time means nothing. You can pick up where you left off even if it’s years later. Katie was one of my besties from back in the day so it was a HUGE honor to be asked to photograph her and Keith’s upcoming farm wedding. I’ve always thought Katie was the just the coolest. She can walk into a room and suddenly it’s a party! Her personality is so vibrant and magnetic, it’s no wonder Keith was attracted to Katie. Katie and Keith currently run a farm (Wildwood Harvest) and are working towards getting certified as permaculturists. Permaculturists (is this a real word?) essentially design self-maintained agricultural systems. Uhh . . . freaking cool! It’s such an interesting field and is becoming more and more relevant in today’s society. So, now I think Keith is the coolest too! hahaha! My husband and I had so much fun photographing Katie and Keith at Berry College and getting to know them as a couple. Here are a few of our favorites from their recent session :) Enjoy!
