Joe and Marilyn Married!: Patten Chapel and The Fairyland Club – Chattanooga

Oh how I adore this couple! From the booking process, to the engagement session, to Marilyn’s bridal, to the wedding day, they have been a breeze! From the moment I arrived at Hair A Go-Go, Marilyn was calm, collected, and ready to enjoy her day. Everyone that my staff and I came in contact with that day was as pleasant as can be, setting the tone for the day. The thing that I think will stand out the most for me from Marilyn and Joe’s wedding was their first look. They were SO quiet. haha! They just

looked at each other and smiled and smiled and you could just see the adoration for one another through their eyes. It was so sweet and so “them.” The other thing that stood out to me was all the family that was there to support these two and the long embracing hugs that were exchanged. After seeing the family dynamics on both sides, I can see why Marilyn and Joe complement each other so well. They truly are a great, long-lasting fit. Here are a few of my favorite images from their day:

We’ll begin our story at Hair A Go-Go where I first met up with Marilyn. Her eyes . . . AMAZING! And wow! The make-up job by Sparrow Cosmetics was flawless!Next, we headed over to beautiful Patten Chapel where everyone finished getting ready.I loved Marilyn’s dress!!!Designs by Melia made all the bouquets and floral arrangements. I think I would trust Melia with all things aesthetic. She has really great taste!A moment from the first look ;)LOVE! I want to draw hearts around these two! Some wedding party details . . .We like to keep things fun and simple around here . . .Indulging a picture request . . . LOL! Nothing says ceremony anticipation like this next shot caught through a mail slot. LOL!I can’t get enough of this next picture . . . so sweet.Married!Minutes after the ceremony, war stories about their trips down the aisle were exchanged by these exhausted kids. However, across the way, a different emotion was stirring. And, finding herself feeling somewhere in between was this little girl :)Because Marilyn and Joe finished all formal pictures pre-ceremony, they had time to mingle with their guests before heading over to the reception. While Marilyn and Joe mingled, we set-up some lighting inside the chapel for a few quick shots of the bride and groom before leaving Patten Chapel. Easy!
Some reception details from the Fairyland Club . . .
First dance . . .I think Marilyn looks like her dad :)CHEERS!Grandma was enjoying every minute of this party.  Some of the kids weren’t so sure ;)Bouquet toss!Garter toss . . .And they’re off to happily ever after!
