Jericka’s Bridal: Mayor’s Mansion – Chattanooga

HAPPY LABOR DAY! And yes, I’m happy to be laboring over Jericka’s bridal pictures :) Normally, a bride sits for her bridal session 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding day (well that’s how I like to do it anyway). However, Jericka decided to do hers after the wedding day. Unlike Annie’s bridal session where she was climbing rocks barefoot and spinning around in the sunshine, Jericka took a more formal approach. It’s totally up to the bride and how she wants to style her shoot. Some brides want to wear their hair down and natural because they will be wearing it pinned up the day of the wedding. Some want to try a more

fashion-forward approach with a birdcage veil and colorful heels. Others want something more traditional indoors. I’m game for almost anything as long as the bride is happy! I totally recommend these sessions because 1) the bride gets to “test-drive” her look for the wedding day and 2) because it allows me some one on one time with the bride in the best light of the day. If you’re on the fence about doing a bridal session, check out some of the accessories from the Little White Dresser and maybe you’ll become inspired! Anyhow, here are a few of my favorite images from Jericka’s bridal session at the Mayor’s Mansion:

Jericka’s niece came along to play princess too!
