Ernie and Bethany Married!: The Walden Club – Chattanooga

Goodness, I just adore the images from Ernie and Bethany’s wedding! I lloovvee photographing friends’ weddings, especially when I know most of the wedding party :) There’s just something about the day that feels easy and FUN. I couldn’t have imagined Bethany’s wedding day any other way. She is such a classy and classic bride. And, of course, the antique car just put it over the top for me . . . or maybe it was the bridesmaids carrying muffs

instead of bouquets . . . probably the latter, right girls? LOL! Anyhow, this was my first time shooting at Hixson Presbyterian and The Walden Club in Chattanooga, both of which inspired and pushed me to come up with some new approaches for my images. I hope everyone enjoys! I know this has been a long awaited post. Much love to my friends and newlyweds, Bethany and Ernie!

Bethany, awakening her wedding day senses with a nice cup of coffee at the salon . . . Next, we headed over to Belk for make-up. Looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed after the coffee set in . . . haha! Love! Some details at Hixson Pres . . . Bethany is SUPER easy to photograph!  Given that we had already gotten a lot of outdoor shots from Bethany’s bridal weeks earlier, I opted for some cool indoor shots to mix up her portfolio.  And although this next shot appears to have been taken inside, it was actually shot outside . . . again, something different yet classic for Bethany, which totally suits her personality. The gals and their muffs . . . LOL LOL!  Precious . . . Gotta get a laughing shot in . . . THE GROOM! :) The guys . . . Ernie gave Bethany a pair of beautiful David Yurman earrings as a wedding day gift.  And so the ceremony begins . . . Married! The Walden Club, which overlooks downtown Chattanooga, was amazingly gorgeous at sunset!
First dance  . . . Parent dances . . . Perhaps my favorite ring shot to date!!! I’m a sucker for sunsets even indoors! Love love love! And shall their happily ever after begin . . .
