Amanda and Blake Engaged!: Carnton Plantation

I feel like this is my “Hallelujah” post! Indeed, this is my last engagement session of the year that I will be editing and posting. In my mind, I have just climbed the highest mountain in the cutest swiss outfit and am now yodeling in triumph. Yep, don’t mind if I do. haha! Just be in this moment with me and let the cool breeze whip through your hair. Of course, I still have plenty of things to do and some different kinds of posts coming up. Hopefully, some personal and a few commercial shoots for all those people out there who like to look at pretty houses. I am so looking forward to some time in the mountains very soon where I will certainly find some relaxation, maybe a little meditation time, and inspiration for upcoming shoots. Apparently, Blowing Rock is a getaway

place for writers and artists who need some quiet and inspiration. Well, without further ado, I would like everyone to meet Amanda and Blake! This was my first time meeting them at the shoot and I must say they are just the sweetest and friendliest couple. We started out our shoot in Downtown Franklin but neither one of us realized how bustling it would be so early in the evening! Yikes! There were people everywhere! So, we moved our shoot to Carnton Plantation, which I must say was beautiful! The light that evening reminded me of something from my childhood. It wasn’t a specific event but maybe bits and fragments of the many days I used to play outside, running through the woods, and climbing trees. Here are a few of my favorite images from our shoot:

Gotta love a cute laughing picture :)

AND I LOVE THIS NEXT ONE! I promise they weren’t running away from me.  LOL!  They were just running.

Oh man! And I love these next two as well!

This path and grove of trees reminded me of painting that used to hang above my bed in my childhood bedroom.  I used to always imagine myself walking down the path in the picture, wondering where it led to.

The end.
