Alders Glen: Cleveland, TN

Several weeks ago I received the opportunity to try my hand at some commercial photography. I’ll start off by saying, “This ain’t no portrait session.” haha! Not only is the work on the front-end hard, but the back-end work (the editing) is also challenging. It’s so different than editing portraits and quite time consuming. However, I accept the challenge and think it’s important to at least understand a little bit about this art. So much of my respect goes to commercial photographers. The more I do it, the more I begin to understand what works and what doesn’t.

Alders Glen is an up and coming neighborhood located in Cleveland, TN. The entrance is gorgeous, along with the lay of the land. There are ponds, small rolling hills, and many mature trees for added privacy. The land is just budding with nature and looks golden in the morning light. Plans for the north ridge include homes inspired by the Colonial Revival country houses of the 1920s. The south ridge is Tremolat with architecture inspired by Old World French manor houses. Properties are limited so don’t wait to set-up an appointment.
