Ben and Lisa Married!: Marriott – Downtown Chattanooga

Maybe it’s a little “old man” to begin a post by discussing the weather. However, I have to say that I have been extremely lucky as a photographer when it comes to weather. All of my winter weddings this year have been in the 60s and for the most part beautiful days. I’m hoping to keep this streak going ALL year! Wouldn’t that be a dream?!

When I met Lisa and Ben many months ago, one of the first impressions that I made of this couple was Ben’s undying love for Lisa. He’s just so sweet on her. When it came time for their

engagement session, my first impression showed truth. However, it wasn’t until their wedding day that I began to realize their individual need for one another. Ben is the outgoing, funny one (which I have decided he gets from his grandfather) and Lisa is the more reserved, sweet one. Ben keeps Lisa laughing and her laughter keeps him cracking the jokes. They truly light each other up. Together, they are a breath of fresh air. I send the best wishes and thoughts to these newlyweds! Here are a few of my favorite images from their wedding day and a SLIDESHOW:

We started the day at Hair Connection in Fort Oglethrope, GA. I just love this next picture! This next picture feels very Steel Magnolias, don’t you think?
Some wardrobe details . . . Getting ready at Highland Park Baptist Church in the Asbury Chapel . . . Lisa was such a chic, trendy bride in her red heels and birdcage veil.  She looked to die for! Lisa’s entourage . . . Ben’s entourage . . . And who can resist this face?!! What a cute ring-bearer! And flower girl :) Here are a few of my favorite shots from the ceremony . . . Oh Ben . . . he’s just so excited :) I like shooting in hallways.  They always seem to have awesome light! And so Ben’s antics begin . . . haha! Maybe my favorite! Next, we headed over to the Marriott for their reception. Some reception room details . . . The spread looked awesome! First dance . . . The toasts . . . I really do love this part of weddings.  I wish everyone incorporated toasts into their reception because when given well, it’s a nice treat for guests to learn more about the bride and groom.
There was also a slideshow played that brought Ben’s mother and many others to tears.  I live for capturing these moments! Sound Force did an awesome job keeping the party going and creating a fun atmosphere with uplighting. Because I never call out people in my blog posts . . . LOL! This was taken seconds before Lisa threw her bouquet. I couldn’t resist these next two shots . . . It was a long day for Lisa’s Benny Bear :) The end. Special thanks to Foxy Events for keeping everyone on pace! Love them!
